Tea – Basil Street Hotel

Knightsbridge on a Sunny Sunday, with a stroll through the Victoria & Albert Museum or shopping spree at Harrods and, perhaps, theater in the late afternoon, makes tea a very attractive recess; however, the price/quality ratio is less than appealing over at the Basil Street Hotel. It’s also worth noting: if your British Breakfast is big enough, you can do nicely at the Basil with a beer at noon and a late tea to keep costs at a minimum.

There are lashings of French dishes as well, but British “puddings” are incredible deserts. “Lunch in the Restaurant and dine at the Grill.” Average price: £65 ($100) and up.
